Why use this app?
You are in the aisle wondering if you can make money from an item you found. With ResellFinder app, one photo returns a cautious resale range and a pay-up-to price before you spend any money. Optional eBay listings show what the same or similar items are asking right now.
Why do I need to log in?
The camera opens before you sign in. The research does not. An AI check and an eBay lookup run on your account, which is also where this month's allowance lives. Photos stay on the phone until you sign in. After that, finds and your plan stay with the account. Sign in with email, Apple, or Google.
What does a pricing result include?
A cautious resale range and a pay-up-to price for that item. eBay listings for the same or similar items are optional and show separately.
How does a check work?
Rapid scan takes one photo. The cautious range and the pay-up-to price land in Picks while you keep walking. Open a row when you are ready to decide.
Is the app on the App Store?
App Store release pending. The download page will link to the listing when it is live.
How is Pay up to calculated?
Pay up to runs on the lower of the low end, the likely figure, and the median of active eBay asking prices, when those numbers exist. A higher asking price cannot raise the ceiling.
Buy ceiling = resale × (1 − fee rate) − shipping − prep − target profit
If that result would go below zero, Pay up to is $0. The app starts at $15 target profit, 15% platform fees, $7 shipping, and $2 prep. Change them in Settings before you shop. The resale range does not change when you do.
How is net profit calculated for each item?
Each item is calculated on its own before those amounts roll into a haul total. The sale price is the cautious resale estimate, not a completed sale.
1. Platform fees: sale price × your platform fee percent. Settings calls this Platform fees. The app starts at 15%. An eBay category fee is often about 13.25% including managed payments. If you pay for a promoted listing, include that in the percent you set.
2. Total expenses: what you paid + platform fees + shipping allowance + prep allowance.
3. Net profit: sale price − total expenses.
Pay up to is the price that still leaves your target profit after those expenses.
After you record a sale, that item uses the price it sold for and the fee, shipping, and prep saved on the sale. The haul's total investment is everything you paid. Cash back is the sold price minus fees, shipping, and prep. Payback is cash back minus total investment. Above zero, the haul paid for itself.
Are the eBay numbers sold prices?
No. The eBay number is the median of active asking prices on live listings for the same or similar items, not completed sales. ResellFinder does not show sold comps.
Are eBay comps the exact item?
An eBay comp is a live listing for the same item or a similar one. ResellFinder searches with text from the item. It does not post your photo. A result can be the same item or only a close match, and the prices are active asking prices, not completed sales.
What is Rapid scan?
One photo per item. Turn on Keep scanning in Settings if the camera should stay open between snaps. Rows show up in Picks. Saving a keeper to a Haul locker starts on Picker.
What is a Haul locker?
On Picker and above, Save this find puts the item in the locker you have open. The locker scores items you bought: sell-through, investment, revenue, profit, ROI, and payback. Payback is cash back from recorded sales minus every purchase price, including items that have not sold. Thrifter can scan and review the current session. It cannot save finds or open Haul.
What happens after an item sells?
Enter actual sale uses the price it sold for and the fee, shipping, and prep saved on that sale. Wrap up is a shareable card for that locker, not for Picks.
Can I try it before a paid plan?
Thrifter is free, with 15 AI scans and 5 eBay comps a month. Haul lockers start on Picker. One-time packs are $3 when you need more that month.
What do the plans cost?
Picker is $5 a month or $50 a year, with 150 AI scans and 75 eBay comps. Flipper is $15 a month or $150 a year, with 600 AI scans and 400 eBay comps. Warehouse is $50 a month or $490 a year, with 3,000 AI scans and 2,500 eBay comps. A yearly plan is billed once a year. Allowances still reset at 00:00 UTC on the 1st. Apple's purchase sheet is the price for your account.
What is a pack?
A pack is a one-time purchase of 50 AI scans or 25 eBay comps for $3. Packs do not auto-renew. Unused pack credits stay until they are used. Monthly allowances still reset.
Where do item photos go?
Item photos stay on the account for up to 90 days. They are private. Delete the account from Settings, then Account & data.
Is this an appraisal?
No. Every figure is an estimate. If research fails, the app shows an error and leaves the price blank.
Does it write the listing or show sold prices?
No. ResellFinder does not write listings, post to marketplaces, or show completed sales.
