Support
Need help with a scan, your account, or a subscription? Start with the answers below. If you're still stuck, email support@resellfinder.app and include a short description of the issue. Please don't send passwords or payment-card details.
Can't sign in?
Sign in with Apple opens the app without a confirmation email. An email account uses a password of at least 8 characters. Creating that account sends a message from noreply@resellfinder.app. Check Junk and Promotions, especially on iCloud. The sign-in screen says Confirm your email before signing in until that message is opened. The button on that screen is Resend confirmation email.
Open the confirmation link on the iPhone where ResellFinder is installed. The app should finish signing you in. If it cannot start a session, it says Your email has been confirmed. You can now sign in to ResellFinder, or Your email was confirmed, but the sign-in session could not be completed. Please sign in. Tap Go to sign in and use the same email and password.
If the link opens on a computer or a different phone, that device cannot finish sign-in inside the app. When the page says your email is confirmed, return to the iPhone with ResellFinder and sign in with the same email and password. If the link says This confirmation link has expired or This confirmation link is no longer valid, stay on Sign in, enter that same address, and tap Resend confirmation email. Open the new message on that iPhone.
Email or password doesn’t match means the address and password do not go together. Apple Sign In didn’t finish. Please try again means the Apple sheet closed before it completed. If you are still blocked, email support@resellfinder.app and include the address on the account. Leave out your password and the confirmation link.
Camera or photos won't open
The first time you scan, tap Allow camera access. If access was refused, the screen says Camera access is off. Turn it on in iPhone Settings → ResellFinder → Camera, then return to the app. Tap Open Settings on that screen, turn Camera on, and come back.
Choose existing photos instead still works when the camera is off. That control asks you to sign in first. The library picker is the iPhone photo sheet. If iPhone asks for photo access, allow it. If the sheet never appears, open iPhone Settings → ResellFinder → Photos and allow access, then return to the app.
That photo couldn’t be read. Take it again means the file did not open. That photo is too large to research. Try a tighter crop means the picture needs to be smaller. Center the item, include a label when you can see one, and leave out other people’s faces and mail.
Scan didn't finish
The camera can open before you sign in. Research starts after you are signed in. If the screen says Sign in to continue, sign in and take the photo again.
A row that is still working reads Pricing… or Checking AI and eBay prices…. Stay on a connection and open the row again. A failed check reads Couldn’t finish this check and offers Try again. You’re offline. Check the connection and try again means the phone could not reach the service. The research service is down. Try again in a few minutes means the check itself failed. Take another photo with the label or maker mark in the frame.
Pricing paused, or a row that reads Paused, is a short wait after too many checks. The screen says AI scans are still available. Pricing resumes when the short pause ends. Wait, then tap Try again. Try again spends another AI scan when the research actually runs.
Rapid scan results land in Picks. Open the Picks tab if the camera stayed on the next snap. Haul, saved finds, and lockers are included with Picker and above. Thrifter can review the current session and cannot save finds or open Haul. If a signed-in check keeps failing, email support@resellfinder.app with the words on the screen. Do not send a photo of someone else's personal information.
The price is blank
A dash where the price should be means the check returned no number. ResellFinder leaves that price blank. It does not fill in a guess, and an asking price you saw somewhere else is not a substitute for that blank. Retry with a clearer photo of the whole item and the label.
Pay up to $0 is a finished calculation. The formula ran and the ceiling is zero, so the tag is above what your Settings leave for profit. The low, likely, and high range can still be on the row. Change the profit, fee, shipping, or prep numbers in Settings if those allowances are wrong for this item. A later scan uses the new numbers. A saved find keeps the ceiling from when you saved it.
Low confidence, or a wide low-to-high range, is still an estimate. One extra photo of the label, size, or damage is the retry. The range is a cautious visual estimate. It is not an appraisal and not a sold price.
eBay comps not found?
eBay comps are live listings for the same or similar items. The search uses text from the item. Your photo is not posted to eBay, and the list is not a set of completed sales. A missing list leaves a range the photo already returned in place.
eBay comps do not run on every scan. Check eBay with each AI scan is off until you turn it on in Settings → Scanning & data. The subtitle is Uses one eBay comp when comps remain. When comps are already used up, the AI scan still runs and eBay comps are skipped. On a row that already has a price and no eBay median, tap Check eBay. That search spends one eBay comp and no extra AI scan. A search with no matches can still use one eBay comp if you checked eBay prices.
Read the title on the empty list. eBay was not checked means you still need to turn the setting on or tap Check eBay. eBay needs a name to search means the search is by title, brand, or barcode, so add a name and retry. No eBay listings for this item or a similar item means the search ran and came back empty. A simpler title can return more asking prices. An empty list is not proof the item is rare. No active listings match these filters means the rows are hidden by condition or Free shipping only. The list says Try All conditions or turn off Free shipping only. Choose All, and turn Free shipping only off. Those filters change the rows on screen. They leave the pay-up-to price as it was.
This month's eBay comps are used, or You've used this month's eBay comps, means the allowance is spent. Open Plans to upgrade or add a pack. When the list says eBay listing checks are paused, or eBay listings are unavailable, the photo range stays. Retry the eBay comp later.
You've used this month's scans
You've used this month's AI scans. Upgrade or add a pack to continue. You've used this month's eBay comps is the comps version of that block. Open Plans and upgrade, or buy a one-time pack. Packs are $3 for 50 more AI scans or 25 more eBay comps. Packs do not renew. Unused pack credits stay until you use them.
The monthly allowance resets at 00:00 UTC on the 1st of each calendar month. That reset is separate from the day Apple bills you. Unused monthly allowances on Picker, Flipper, and Warehouse do not carry into the next month. Thrifter's unused AI scans can carry, and the next month's AI allowance cannot exceed 30 before a pack. Unused eBay comps do not carry over.
The meters on Settings show AI scans and eBay comps as used of the cap. A blocked check is the allowance message above. It is separate from Pricing paused, which is a short wait while scans can still be available.
Subscription not showing?
Open Plans and tap Restore purchases. Stay signed in to the ResellFinder account that should receive the plan, and use the Apple ID that paid.
Restore can bring back an active subscription. A one-time pack that was already added to the account is not added again. Unused pack credits stay on that ResellFinder account until you use them. A purchase made on a different ResellFinder account stays with that account.
If the plan is still missing, email support@resellfinder.app with the ResellFinder email and the date you subscribed. Leave out your card number. Apple's receipt is the record of the charge.
How do I cancel?
In the app, open Plans and tap Manage subscription. That opens Apple's subscription page. On the iPhone you can also open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap ResellFinder, and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple's steps are at https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428. The subscription list is also at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
Canceling stops the next renewal. Access continues through the period you already paid. Deleting your ResellFinder account does not cancel the Apple subscription.
Refunds are requested from Apple, not from ResellFinder. Follow Apple's instructions at https://support.apple.com/en-us/118223. Sign in at https://reportaproblem.apple.com, choose Request a refund, and submit the ResellFinder charge. Apple decides whether a refund is available.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings → Account & data → Delete account and data. Type DELETE, then tap Permanently delete account.
Deletion removes account-backed research, estimates, sourcing decisions, sale outcomes, preferences, private item photos, and unused pack credits. The app signs you out and clears ResellFinder data on that iPhone. This cannot be undone.
Uninstalling the app removes only the copy on that iPhone. The account remains until you delete it with the steps above. Cancel the Apple subscription separately if you do not want another charge. There is no download button in the app. For a copy of account data, email privacy@resellfinder.app before you delete.
